Life Music Care™ (LMC) integrated planning and management program service fees and payment options may vary among planners and should be discussed with your planner prior to retaining service.

How does life music care work?

Music has the ability to provide a variety of benefits to various listeners who often make music listening part of their daily routine. For many people, listening to music they select, enjoy and control in the comfort of their own environment can help them achieve a variety of wellness benefits that may provide therapeutic recall effect.

What is therapeutic recall effect?

Therapeutic Recall Effect™ (TRE) refers to music that plays in your mind from memorable melodies that a create repeated benefiting effect that occurred when the listener was physically listening to the music.

How does life music care differ from music therapy?

• Life Music Care™ (LMC) is the process of integrating an individuals personal music listening preferences with a personalized wellness plan geared to promote various personal initiatives facilitated by an LMC listed Planner;

whereas,

• Music Therapy is the clinical and evidence-based use of music interventions to accomplish individualized goals within a therapeutic relationship by a credentialed professional who has completed an approved music therapy program, as defined by the AMTA.
